Response Time and Hours

We aim to acknowledge every message within 24 hours on business days (Monday through Friday, 09:00–18:00 Korea Standard Time, excluding Korean public holidays). Substantive replies typically take 24–48 hours, depending on how much investigation is required.

If your message is time-sensitive (e.g., a production-impacting bug or a press deadline), please add "URGENT" to your subject line and we will move it to the top of the queue.

Messages received during weekends and holidays are queued and answered on the next business day. We are not a 24/7 operation — being a small, sustainable team is part of why we can keep JavaScript.ac free.

You found something broken — the code editor freezes, a tutorial code sample fails, a problem's test cases reject a correct solution, or a reference page is wrong. How do I reset my code in the playground?

Right-click anywhere in the editor and choose "Clear" — or open your browser's DevTools and clear the localStorage entry for our domain.

How do I report a problem with a specific question?

Open the problem page, copy the URL, and include it in your e-mail along with the input you used.

Can I get a personal tutor or 1-on-1 lesson?

We do not offer personal tutoring. ${SITE_NAME} is a self-paced, asynchronous learning platform.

Can I publish my own tutorials on ${SITE_NAME}?

Not yet — we curate everything in-house to maintain quality. We may open guest-author submissions in the future. If interested, e-mail us with [PARTNERSHIP].

Why does the page show ads?

Display ads pay for the infrastructure and the writing. Without them ${SITE_NAME} would not exist as a free service.

Can you remove an ad I dislike?

We do not pick individual creatives — Google AdSense decides which ads to show. You can manage personalised-ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

I'm getting "Please disable your ad-blocker" — is that you?

No. We do not detect or block ad-blocker users. If a third-party script does, please report it via [BUG] and we will investigate.

Where do I send a privacy or GDPR request?

Are you hiring?

We are a small team and hire infrequently. If we are open, the role will be posted on the homepage. Speculative résumés are read but cannot all be answered individually.

Will you add support for Python / TypeScript / WebAssembly?

Maybe. Tell us which language and what specifically you would do with it. Real use-cases move our roadmap.

You can write to us in English or Korean. We can also read Japanese and Chinese, though replies in those languages may take a little longer while we review them.
